The Norwell Knights defeated the Bluffton Tigers 7-1 in Thursday’s baseball matchup.
Norwell (15-10) scored all seven of its runs in the first three innings, while Bluffton (10-12) did not score its only run of the game until the fifth inning.
Norwell outhit Bluffton 7-5 and committed just one error to Bluffton’s four.
Drew Graft led the Knights’ bats, going 2-for-4 with a triple and double and two runs scored. Cade Shelton went 2-for-3 with two RBIs.
Brody Lewis went 2-for-3 with a double and RBI to lead the Tigers at the plate.
Brody Bolyn picked up the win for Norwell on the mound. In two innings he allowed two hits and no runs or walks and got three strikeouts.
Kyler Rolston suffered the loss for Bluffton, allowing seven runs (four earned) on six hits in 3 2/3 innings of work while striking out three and walking two.
With the win, Norwell concluded its regular season and will enter sectional play next week.
Bluffton will wrap up its regular season at Southwood on Saturday.
