There are plenty of planned activities for adults to enjoy, being offered by the Wells County Public Library during the next few months.

For starters if you have not picked up a “To-Go Kit” now might be a good time to explore one. As of June 1 Oceans of Puzzles will be ready and as of July 1 the theme will be DIY Cleaning Products.

Next get the Summer Book Sale in your calendar. It will begin with a preview evening for Friends of the Library members on Tuesday, June 21, from 5 to 8 p.m. The sale will continue for the week during regular library hours.

An outdoor activity will be the River Clean-Up on Monday, June 27, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., starting from the Wabash Pavilion behind Hardee’s. An introductory presentation from the Upper Wabash River Basin Commission will get the project underway for picking up litter along the River Greenway. (Registration is recommended for this event.)

An inside activity for adults will be Bingo with Jason on Wednesday, June 29, from 6 to 7 p.m. There will be Oceans of Possibilities for the winning of prizes.

The Bermuda Triangle Escape Room will be accepting adult visitors on Wednesday, July 13th. Teams should register for a specific one-hour time slot between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m.

Another outside activity will be the Historical Homes Walking Tour on Saturday, July 23, at 10 a.m., 1 or 3 p.m. This year the guided walking tour will be along South Main Street, led by a member of the Wells County Historical Society. (Registration is required for this one.)

Trivia Night will be celebrated at the Parlor City Brewing Company n Sunday, July 24, from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Adults (21+) will team up to test their knowledge on a variety of subjects. (Registration required.)

A Try It Night will be held on Monday, July 25, 6:30-8 p.m. as adults and teens  can recycle T-shirts into bags for carrying books or groceries. (Registration required for this one too.)

And then if you have been participating in the Library’s “Oceans of Possibilities” summer reading program the Adult Summer Reading Party will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 3, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. (For adults who completed the summer reading program.
