Saturday, 11:47 a.m., residence in the 400 block of Cedar Road. Caller reported a delivery truck damaged the yard at the residence.

Saturday, 2:26 p.m., Bluffton Regional Medical Center, 303 S. Main St. Report that a person was bitten by a dog in Ossian.

Saturday, 3:18 p.m., Walmart Supercenter parking lot, 2100 N. Main St. Caller reported that a man and a woman were fighting in the parking lot of the store. Officers responded but the couple was gone.

Saturday, 4:29 p.m., residence in the 300 block of East Arnold Street. Two teens detained for breaking into the house.

Saturday, 5:16 p.m., residence in the 500 block of Eastmoor Drive, Bluffton Woods mobile home park. Caller reported that he came home, found the front door of his mobile home wide open and the dog and the dog’s property was stolen.

Saturday, 6:10 p.m., apartment in the 100 block of South Johnson Street. Outside table vandalized.

Saturday, 6:28 p.m., Morgan Street at Silver Street. Report of an intoxicated man. The man was headed to his house. An officer caught up with him and told him not to drive.

Saturday, 6:56 p.m., apartment in the 300 block of East Washington Street. Report of an intoxicated man threatening to “bash in” a woman’s head. Officers responded. The parties had separated before officers arrived.

Saturday, 8:06 p.m., CoCo China Buffet, 2020 N. Main St. Report of a man passed out inside a vehicle. Officer responded. The man had fallen asleep in his car after eating at the restaurant.

Saturday, 11:43 p.m., Pine Grove Apartments. Report that a man had battered a woman and a boy at the apartment they all shared. Earl Wilson Quinn, 41, was charged with two counts of domestic battery, a Level 5 felony; strangulation, a Level 6 felony; and domestic battery, a Class B misdemeanor. Bond set at $31,000.

Sunday, 12:44 a.m., Johnson Street at Market Street. Report of a fight between a woman and a man at the intersection. Timothy O’Neal Davis, Fort Wayne, was charged with battery, a Class B misdemeanor; domestic battery, a Level 5 felony; resisting law enforcement, a Level 6 felony; and disorderly conduct, a Class B misdemeanor. Bond set at $32,000.

Sunday, 1:29 a.m., Bluffton Regional Medical Center, 303 S. Main St. Report of two intoxicated patients left the emergency room and drove away in a vehicle. The vehicle was located parked at a residence and unoccupied.

Sunday, 2:57 p.m., residence in the 400 block of West Wabash Street. Report of two women in a loud verbal altercation. Officers responded. Situation calmed.

Sunday, 6:53 p.m., residence in the 1200 block of Hollyhock Lane. Caller reported his neighbor ran over his mailbox, but it is an accusation his neighbor denied.

Sunday, 11:23 p.m., residence in the 400 block of Cedar Road, Bluffton Woods mobile home park. Caller reported her sister’s boyfriend damaged the caller’s property. Officers responded. A juvenile male was detained for criminal mischief and resisting law enforcement.

Sunday, 4:27 p.m., Ind. 1 at U.S. 224. Gideon A. Reynolds, 15, rural Decatur, was driving a 2008 Chevrolet Uplander south on Ind. 1 when he made a left turn into the path of a northbound 2013 Toyota Avalon, driven by Kelly L. Coughlin, 34, Fort Wayne. The ensuing collision caused Coughlin’s car to spin around and came to a stop at the edge of the field in the southeast corner of the intersection. The Uplander spin around and came to a stop facing northeast in the middle of the turn lane for U.S. 224. Jade M. Reynolds, 46, rural Decatur, a passenger in Reynolds’ vehicle, as well as both drivers, suffered minor injuries in the crash. Wells County EMS and Ossian Fire Rescue were dispatched to the scene. None of the people injured were transported to the hospital by ambulance. Damage exceeded $25,000.
