BHS student’s drawing is Best of Show

Best of Show honors were presented to Ella Wheeler of Bluffton High School for her black and white drawing “Corban” at the 2022 Tri Kappa Art Show, now being showcased at the Wells County Commerce & Visitors Centre.
Eleven different art media are represented in the exhibit that features student art from all three of the county’s public school systems Norwell High School, Bluffton High School and Southern Wells High School). The exhibit will be on view through May 13th.
Tri Kappas hosted the opening reception Sunday afternoon as the winners were announced and prizes and ribbons were awarded. Money awards included: Honorable Mention, $50; 1st: $25; 2nd: $20; and 3rd, $15.

Beta Phi chapter of Tri Kappa has sponsored a yearly high school art show since 1966.
There is no admission charge to view the art work at the Wells County Commerce & VisitorsCentre. Hours are Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
