Cami Gross, founder and director of One Heart Disability Ministry, will be the featured speaker at Ossian Rotary’s Thursday morning meeting at 7:30 at the First Baptist Church of Ossian.
Partnering with people from churches in the community as well as community organizations, One Heart Disability Ministry is able to effectively reach out to people with disabilities and their families in northeast Indiana and beyond. Gross has been leading and directing programming for people with disabilities for the past 15 years.
“People with disabilities are often forgotten or overlooked and are often not seen as a vital part of the local church or of society at large,” Gross said. “One Heart seeks to advocate for people with disabilities and let them feel special and loved as they participate in our programs.”
Gross is a native Hoosier and lives in Warren with her husband and their three children.
She has a bachelor’s in church ministry from Lancaster Bible College in Lancaster, Pa., and is certified in Disability Ministry from Johnson Bible College in Knoxville, Tennessee.
She also has a certificate in disability ministry from Joni and Friends Ministry in California.
