First Bank of Berne recently donated $500 to Community Care of Wells County. Presenting the check is Erica Bennett, left, Bluffton branch manager, and accepting the check are Chris Walker, executive director of Community Care, and Andrea Dimond, operations manager of Grace and Mercy. Community Care focuses on helping family thrive, according to a press release, with the Connecting Center crisis resource center, Change-Up Thrift store and Grace and Mercy transitional housing program.
