Friday, 3:34 p.m., Star Engineering, 1717 W. Lancaster St. Bluffton Fire Department first responders, Wells County EMS and Bluffton police officers responded on a report of a 62-year-old woman who fell from a standing height.

Friday, 7:40 p.m., Jefferson Park. Report of juveniles involved in a fistfight. Officers responded. Parties separated. Information taken for a report.

Friday, 8:03 p.m., Hardees restaurant, 211 N. Main St. Officer pulled over a moped rider who appeared to be intoxicated and arrested Roger Keith Moore Jr., 56, Bluffton, on charges of operating a vehicle with an alcohol concentration equivalency of .15 percent or more and operating a vehicle while intoxicated endangering a person, both Class A misdemeanors. Bond set at $1,500.

Friday, 10:14 p.m., residence on 250N across from Timber Ridge. Burglar alarm. Officer responded. No sign of foul play found.

Saturday, 2:16 a.m.,  Short Stop convenience store. Officer assisted a stranded motorist with pushing his stalled car off North Main Street and into the parking lot of the Short Stop convenience store.

Saturday, 3:23 a.m., man walking on East Spring Street. Officer assisted him by giving him a ride to his home on No Number Road.

Saturday, 9:54 a.m., 1200 block of West Central Avenue. Report of an “unstable” neighbor going door-to-door trying to get into people’s houses. Officers dispatched. EMS requested.

Saturday, 11:07 a.m., officer assisted a man who came to the police department and claimed he was “kicked out” of the Praxis substance abuse rehabilitation facility and needed a place to stay. He was procured a room at the Budget Inn.

Saturday, 1:32 p.m., Snider Fleet Solutions, 1400 W. Wiley Ave. Bluffton Fire Department first responders, Wells County EMS and Bluffton police officers responded on a report of a 52-year-old male employee who passed out while working on a truck.

Saturday, 4:57 p.m., South Street at Bennett Street. Report that a juvenile male threatened to beat up two other juveniles. The juvenile was detained by an officer.

Saturday, 5:22 p.m., residence in the 1200 block of Hollyhock Lane. Youth called saying there was someone inside the residence shooting a gun. Officers responded. Turned out to be children playing around on a cell phone. Everyone was fine.

Saturday, 7:59 p.m., residence in the 900 block of South Main Street. Deputies served an arrest warrant on Kevin Len Patat, 51, on one count of child molesting, a Level 1 felony. Bond set at $30,000.

Saturday, 9:27 p.m., residence in the 500 block of South Bennett Street. Deputy went to the residence to serve a warrant on a woman who turned out to not be at the residence. However the deputy reportedly smelled an odor commonly associated with burned marijuana emanating from the doorway of the residence and allegedly located marijuana and drug paraphernalia in the residence after gaining a consent to search. Information taken for a report.

Saturday, 10:21 p.m., Pine Grove apartments. Caller reported four juveniles trying to enter and apartment through the sliding glass patio door. Officers responded. Information taken for a report.

Sunday, 8:27 a.m., residence in the 1200 block of West South Street. Caller accidentally dialed 911 while trying to call a phone number in Germany.

Sunday, 7:32 p.m., Praxis, 1529 W. Lancaster St. Officer requested to remove an unwanted woman from the facility. She was waiting on a ride.

Sunday, 9:31 p.m., CVS Pharmacy, 1203 S. Main St. Burglar alarm. Officer responded. No sign of foul play found.

Monday, 11:44 a.m., residence in the 800 block of South Johnson Street. Caller reported identity theft.

County:

Friday, 9:02 p.m., residence on 200W in Keystone. Deputies dispatched on a report of a man in the front yard of the residence firing a shotgun into an area where there was other people. After investigation it was determined that the gun was not a shotgun but a BB gun. The man had reportedly been trying to get two people who lived in a camping trailer on the property to leave as he was accusing them of illegal drug activity. A deputy explained to the man that since he didn’t own the property he could not force the people staying in the trailer to leave. A warrant was obtained to search the trailer and allegedly numerous illegal substances and drug paraphernalia was confiscated. The case remains under investigation.

Friday, 10:32 p.m., residence on Ind. 1 south of 600S. Caller reported when he arrived home there was a female stranger standing just outside of his property. Sheriff’s deputy searched the area but did not see anyone matching the description.

Saturday, 1:30 a.m., residence on Main Street in Craigville. Loud verbal altercation between a man and a woman. Deputies responded. The parties had separated before law enforcement arrived. Both were advised to stay away from each other and to sober up.

Saturday, 10:35 a.m., rural Bluffton caller reported that someone used her identity to try and obtain employment.

Saturday, 10:25 p.m., residence on Meridian Road south of Ind. 124. Caller reported seeing an older-style Volkswagen drive by residence with its flashers on and heard someone yelling for help. Sheriff’s deputy checked the area but saw no vehicle matching the description.

Sunday, 8:28 p.m., residence on Hoosier Highway south of 200S. Caller reported her husband locked her out of the house. Deputies responded. The man had let the woman back into the house when the deputies  arrived.

Friday, 4:17 p.m., residence in the 400 block of West LaFever Street. Caller reported he was backing a vehicle out of his driveway when a man who was walking nearby, who appeared to be intoxicated, got upset and made threatening remarks to the man backing the vehicle. Officer located the man, whom he recognized, as the man was entering his apartment.

ARRESTS

Bryce Andrew Carteaux, 40, Markle; probation viuolation. No bond set.

Amber Dawn Monce, 28, Sheridan; identity deception, a Level 6 felony. Bond set at $5,000.

Kaizen Jamal Lamarr Pearson, 25, Fort Wayne; driving while suspended with a prior conviction, a Class A misdemeanor. Released on his own recognizance.

Jared Neil Beaty, 39, Bluffton; probation violation. No bond set.
