The Bluffton Tigers fell to the Heritage Patriots 50-38 in Saturday’s home ACAC matchup at The Tiger Den.
Bluffton (3-14, 1-3) had defeated Heritage 53-52 during the ACAC Tournament back in January and led 15-14 this time around after one quarter of play.
However, the Patriots (4-11, 2-3) fought back to outscore the Tigers 29-14 over the next two quarters of play. They outscored the hosts 15-9 in the second quarter and 14-5 in the third quarter to take a 42-28 lead.
It was also the Tigers’ sixth straight loss since defeating the Patriots back in January.
Harrison Schreiber led the Tigers with 13 points, and Tucker Jenkins followed with 9.
The Tigers’ next game will be a home on Friday against Northfield.
