William H. Falk, 80, of Bluffton, passed away on Wednesday afternoon, Sept. 30, 2026, at Adams Woodcrest of Decatur.

Bill was born on Jan. 21, 1946, in Bluffton to Homer F. and Cressie I. (McAfee) Falk. He was part of the last graduating class from Rockcreek High School in 1964. He worked at Corning Glass Works until he was drafted in the United States Army, where he served two years and was honorably discharged in 1967. Upon arriving home, Bill returned to Corning Glass and worked until the facility closed. He was a lifelong farmer and farmed the family farms with his brother, Bob, until he retired from the active farming operation in 2019.
Bill was a avid reader and a talented bowler. He bowled in local leagues and competed all around Northeast Indiana. He was a long-time member of St. Pauls Lutheran Church, near the family farms.
Bill is survived by his nieces and nephews, Samuel R. (Joan) Falk of Decatur, Joseph L. Falk of New Haven, Rebecca Saalfrank of Indianapolis and Laura (John) Elmer of Fort Wayne. Great nieces and nephews also survive him: Caroline Elmer of Fort Wayne, Benjamin (Cassandra) Falk of Decatur, Lucas (Jackie) Falk of Decatur and Jacob Falk of Fort Wayne; along with great-great-nieces and nephews, Logan Falk and Zoey Falk, both of Decatur.
He is preceded in death by a brother, whom he farmed with, Robert B. (Ruth) Falk; and a sister, Ilene (Gene) Saalfrank.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2026, at the Thoma/Rich, Lemler Funeral Home in Bluffton. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Bluffton.
Visitation will take place from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2026, at the funeral home and for one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
