Janet S. Bohr, 87, of Oakland, Arkansas, and former longtime resident of Wells County, passed away on Friday evening, Oct. 9, 2026, at her residence.
Janet was born on Jan. 9, 1939, in Bluffton, to Robert D. and Doris I. (Terhune) Williams. She graduated from Bluffton High School in 1957. She worked at Lakeland Medical Center and retired in 1999. She was a secretary for Grace Baptist Church in Muncie. Janet was very involved with Grace Baptist Church in Muncie.
On Dec. 27, 1957, Janet and John E. Bohr were married in Poneto. They have shared over 68 years of marriage together.
Survivors include her husband, John Bohr of Oakland, Arkansas; their daughters, Teresa Bohr and Rexanna (Cecil) Floyd, all of Arkansas, and RaeJean (Jim) Brandonisio of Ave Maria, Florida; four grandchildren, Nichole Kelley, Austin Filkins, Michael Brandonisio and Elizabeth Corbit; and eight great-grandchildren. She is survived by two brothers, Bob Williams and David Williams.
She is preceded in death by her parents; an infant daughter, Toni L. Bohr; and a sister, Jane (Gene) Simon.
Graveside services will take place at 12 noon on Thursday, Oct. 22, 2026, at Mossburg Cemetery in Liberty Center, with Pastor Doug McClure officiating.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Thursday at the Thoma/Rich, Lemler Funeral Home, prior to the graveside service.
Memorials may be made to Grace Baptist Church Flood Fund in Muncie, and may be directed through the funeral home.
