Ann Scott, 67, of Bluffton passed away on Wednesday afternoon, Oct. 7, 2026, at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne.

Ann was born on Sept. 21, 1959, in Cook County, Illinois, to Walter and Edith (Smith) Scott and graduated from Bluffton High School with the class of 1978. 

Ann worked at Kitco Co. in Bluffton for 20 years and retired from WEG in Bluffton in 2026, where she worked for 10 years.

Ann had a green thumb and enjoyed working in her garden. She was always picking up flowers or a new house plant. Family was very important to Ann, especially spending time with her grandchildren. She was a loving mother and caregiver to many. Ann loved animals and is survived by her Golden Retriever, Finley. 

Survivors include her children, Sara M. (Ryan) Stout of Fort Wayne, David J. (Jenna) Scott of Fort Wayne, Michael J. (Shiloh) Scott and Matthew J. (Siera) Scott, both of Bluffton; along with her eight grandchildren, Elliot Stout, Aiden Stout, Lucas Stout, Weston Scott, Hazel Scott, Emerson Scott, Ellie Scott and Benson Scott. She is also survived by two brothers, Jerry (Vickie) Scott of Sturgis, Michigan and Terry Scott of Warren.

Ann is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Will Bohnke, and siblings, Wayne Scott, Larry Scott, Ellen Coker and Janie (Clara Jane) Cook.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2026, at the Thoma/Rich, Lemler Funeral Home in Bluffton with Barry Crosbie officiating. Burial will take place at the Garden of Chimes in Elm Grove Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2026, at the funeral home and for one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
