
Nadine M. Rudy, 73, of Bluffton, passed away Wednesday morning, Sept. 2, 2026, at Bluffton Regional Medical Center.
Nadine was born in Bluffton on Oct. 23, 1952, to R. Harrold and Dorothy L. (Clark) Rudy. Both parents preceded her in death.
A 1971 Bluffton High School graduate, Nadine worked as a flag car driver for over 30 years, she also drove and delivered newspapers for the Journal Gazette for over 30 years as well.
She was a lifetime member of the Bluffton Moose Lodge No. 242, she was an avid supporter of the Wells County 4-H and the Bluffton Free Street Fair poultry tent. She was involved in the Circle W Horse Club of Wells County. She worked on the family farm raising Polled Hereford cows with her dad. She also enjoyed riding horses. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Nadine is survived by a son, Slone (significant other Sarah Spaulding) Rudy of Bluffton; a sister Nelda (Harry) Rich of Bluffton; two nieces, Kara (Brad) Peters of Fort Wayne and Kristin (JR) Crull of Poneto; six great nieces and nephews, Allison Peters, Avery Peters and Austin Peters, Lilly (Dustin Woodward) Bowman, Paul Crull and Hudson Crull; a grandson, Joel Moeller; along with a goddaughter, Charlotte Sawyer.
Visitation will be Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2026, from 2-7 p.m., at Goodwin – Harnish Funeral Home in Bluffton. Services will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2026, at 10:30 a.m., at the funeral home, with one hour of visitation prior to the service. Tony Robles will officiate. Burial will follow at Six Mile Cemetery in Wells County.
Memorial contributions in memory of Nadine may be made to the Wells County 4-H Poultry Club.
