Teresa Sue Reineck, 72, of Bluffton, passed away on Saturday afternoon, August 22, 2026, at Bluffton Regional Medical Center.
Teresa was born on October 9, 1953, in Bluffton to Richard D. Gentis and Iris J. (Holsinger) Hunt. Teresa graduated from Bluffton High School in 1972. She was a Supervisor at Kitco for 30 years. She retired from Peyton’s Northern after 13 years. Teresa enjoyed decorating for the holidays. She could often be found in her garden with her flowers, or shopping for treasures. Above all, she cherished her time as a Grandma, spending time with her grandchildren and making arts and crafts with them.
On July 2, 1971, Teresa and Jerry “Jake” Reineck were married in Bluffton. They have shared 55 years of marriage together.
Survivors include her husband, Jake Reineck of Bluffton, a daughter LaNae (Jim) Casey of Speedway, IN., a son, Joe (Amy) Reineck of Bluffton and six grandchildren; Paxton McChristian, Brynn Casey, Hudson, Case, Miles and Mack Reineck. She is also survived by a sister, Janet Weikel of Fort Wayne.
Teresa is preceded in death by her parents, her stepfather Marion J. “Junior” Hunt, and a sister, Cindy K. Stuff.
Funeral services will be held at 5 P.M. on Thursday, August 27, 2026, at the Thoma/Rich, Lemler Funeral Home in Bluffton, with Chuck Moon officiating.
Visitation will take place from 1 P.M. until the time of service at the funeral home.
