Barbara Brown Haffner, 92, of Bluffton, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 6, 2026, at Christian Care Retirement Community in Bluffton.
Barbara was born on March 16, 1934, in Delaware County, Indiana, to Ralph C. and Dollie M. (Perdue) Thomas.
Barbara was married to Harry Philip Brown, who preceded her in death. On Aug. 27, 2011, Barbara and Paul N. Haffner were married.
Survivors include her husband, Paul Haffner of Bluffton, a son, Jeff (Frances) Brown of Indianapolis, along with stepdaughters Deborah (Blair) Brown of Decatur, Norma Sweeten of Bluffton, Vickie (Jack) Edington of Plymouth, Minnesota, and Denise (Dwight) Ginn of Bourbonnais, Illinois, and one granddaughter.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Harry, and siblings, Donald G. Thomas and Beverly Kay Bitts.
As Barbara requested, there will be no formal service.
