Scott Stuart Sodervick, born July 13, 1958, in Logansport, Indiana, has found eternal rest in the presence of the Lord. He was the son of David F. Sodervick and June Ellen Felker Sodervick, who preceded him in death.

Scott was a graduate of Wabash High School, Class of 1976, where he was active in the high school band. He is a graduate of Ball State University. A man of steady faith, Scott was a member of the Wabash Christian Church.

Scott was a quiet man with a quiet strength. His calm presence, dependability, and kindness were felt by those who knew him well. He found joy in simple things — especially spending time outdoors and being with his beloved dog.

He is survived by his loving wife, Michelle Sodervick of Bluffton; his stepson, Scott Moore of Bluffton; his stepdaughter, Jordan (Matt) Morrissey of Zionsville; and his cherished grandchildren Cale, Hattie and Eloise Morrissey. He is also survived by his brother, David R. (Joleen) Sodervick of Peru; sister-in-law, Lisa Sodervick of Wabash; and nieces and nephews, Jacob (Sarah) Sodervick, Krista (Brandon) Catt, Payton Sodervick, Niko (Miranda) Macaluso and Christin (Trent) Hoppes, along with extended family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents, Werner and Bertha Lott Sodervick and Chauncey and June Katherine Meady Felker; and brother, Barry Martin Sodervick.
