Myron L. Bradburn was born on July 17, 1942, in Huntington. He married his beloved wife, Bonita J. (Cooper) Bradburn, on May 13, 1961. Myron entered his heavenly home on Jan. 20, 2026, at his residence in Leo, Indiana. He was the cherished son of Roderick J. Bradburn and Helen J. (Overholt) Bradburn.

Myron graduated from Union Center High School in Markle, in 1960. He served in the United States Army and Reserves, receiving his honorable discharge in 1968. Myron earned his Bachelor of Science in Business, graduating with distinction from Indiana University in 1970.

Throughout his career, Myron worked at International Harvester in Fort Wayne and Lincoln Life Insurance Company in Fort Wayne. His first role in long-term care was at Cooper Rest Home in Decatur. He went on to become the founder and CEO of Community Care Centers, first in Decatur then in Muncie, retiring from providing long term care in 2007.

Myron devoted over 40 years as an Elder in the Christian Church/Church of Christ and served on the Board of Directors for Great Lakes Bible College. He was a licensed private pilot and a Christian music recording artist with Reflections Music. Myron was a member of the Markle Church of Christ in Markle. He was a member of the Indiana Health Care Association. Myron believed in the mission of Woodburn Christian Children’s Home and has been a faithful supporter.

Many family vacations were enjoyed on Coldwater Lake, Manistee National Forest snowmobiling with the family, Cedar Point and St. Pete Beach, Florida.

Myron was deeply committed to sharing his faith, teaching others about Jesus in both Bible study and in song. He was known for his kindness and generosity, never thinking twice about helping those in need. Myron cherished his family and valued the time spent together. Myron had a heart for the elderly, providing compassionate care, ensuring each person was treated with dignity and respect. Renowned for his sense of humor, Myron may well have invented the classic dad joke — he always had a witty quip ready. His love for birdwatching was evident in the impressive collection of bird feeders that delighted both him and his family. The memories created with Myron are treasured by his family, and his presence will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his loving wife, Bonita J. Bradburn and his legacy continues through his children, Douglas Bradburn (Karen) of Greenfield, Lee Ann Hinsky (Brad) of Leo, Amy Hineman (Ed) of Garrett, Craig Bradburn (Christine) of Muncie, Joy Elwood (Jason) of Liberty Township, Ohio, Deborah Wright (Brett) of Brentwood, Tennessee; and Jonathan Bradburn (Jenn) of Bushnell, Florida.

He was a proud grandfather to Griffin Bradburn (deceased), Hillary Bradburn (Tin) Nguyen of Weymouth, Massachusetts, Chloe (Dylan) Bradburn-Werth of North Hollywood, California, Caitlin (Kyle) Martin of Fort Wayne, Alexander Hinsky of North Hollywood, California, Nathan (Aubrey) Hinsky of Fort Wayne, Abigail Otten of Garrett, Kirstin Burton (deceased), Cooper Shragal (Lindsey) of New Haven, Karina (Dacoda) Fortune of Tuckerman, Arizona, Austyn (Emma Mullett) Hineman of Fort Wayne, Casey Shragal of Fort Wayne, Camden Shragal of Fort Wayne, Holly Hineman of Garrett, Jessica (Chris) Jenkins of West Monroe, Louisiana, Samantha Bradburn of Farmington Hills, Michigan, Jacey (James) Reed of Middletown, Ohio, Jalen (Cody) Lee of Middletown, Ohio, Annabelle Wright of Savannah, Georgia and Tristan Wright of Brentwood, Tennessee, Maci and Meladi Bradburn of Noblesville, and Jayna Bradbun of Bushnell, Florida.

Myron’s great-grandchildren include Gemma Nguyen of Weymouth, Massachusetts, Lydia and Joshua Martin of Fort Wayne, Orion Burton of Garrett, Adilyn and Bentley Jenkins of West Monroe, Louisiana, Jason and Jacob Reed of Middletown, Ohio, and Mace Lee of Middletown, Ohio.

Myron’s siblings are, Eunice Youkey of Huntington, Marvin Bradburn of Rock Ledge, Florida, Marvel Crumpacker of Fort Wayne, Vernon Bradburn of Ossian, and Marcella Degitz of Fort Wayne.

Visitation will be Monday, Jan. 26, 2026, at D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Home — Covington Knolls, 8325 Covington Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46804, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., with a celebration of life to begin at 2 p.m. A private, family graveside service will be held in Markle.
