Barbara Sue Jordan Moriarity Kitterman, 87, died Thursday, Jan. 15, 2026.
Barbara was born to the late Harry L. and Esta E. (Trester) Jordan in Montpelier on March 25, 1938.
Barbara was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jerry Kitterman; her daughter, Niki Moriarity; one grandsson; and siblings, Harry “Junior” Jordan and Julia Bennett.
She is survived by her sons, Lester Allen “Freddy” Moriarity and Ricky Moriarity, both of Montpelier; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at Walker & Glancy Funeral Home, 109 W. Windsor St. in Montpelier. Friends and family may gather for visitation from 10 a.m. to noon Monday, Jan. 26, 2026. The funeral service will follow at noon with Pastor Steve Rogers officiating. Burial will take place in Brookside Cemetery in Montpelier.
