Sandra Lee (Adams) Hatfield, 84, of Ossian, passed away peacefully in the presence of her children, Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2025. She was born Sept. 25, 1941. She was married to the love of her life, Jerry L. Hatfield, for 67 years until his passing Nov. 17, 2025.
Sandy is survived by her sister, Renee (Richard) Cook of Rolla, Missouri; brother, Allen Adams of Ossian; children, Debra (Tom) Hatfield Kelly and Jim (Reva) Hatfield; grandchildren, Dr. Meghan Kelly, Lauren (Mitch) Haifley and Adam (Cameron) Kelly; and five great-granddaughters.
Sandy was known for her beautiful flower and vegetable gardens. As an excellent seamstress, she crafted everything from Barbie clothes to wedding dresses, quilts, clothing and many homemade treasures. As a wonderful cook, she was well known for her pies. She and her husband, Jerry, shared a love of motorcycling, traveling thousands of miles across the country, many times with friends. Sandra will be remembered for her faith, kindness, creativity, strength and love for her family and friends.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2025, at 2 p.m. at Elzey-Patteson-Rodak Funeral Home, 120 West Mill Street, Ossian, Indiana 46777 with visitation two hours prior, beginning at 12 p.m. Burial will follow services, at Oak Lawn Cemetery.
