Delilah A. (Aschliman) Biberstein, 78, of rural Decatur, passed away Wednesday morning, Dec. 24, 2025, following a short illness.

Delilah was born on Nov. 1, 1947, in Decatur, to Roy & Ida (Gerber) Aschliman. She married Stanley “Stan” Biberstein in Wells Count on Nov. 27, 1966; he survives.

Delilah graduated from Adams Central High School in 1965. She was a homemaker and helped her husband, Stan, on their chicken farm.  She was a well-loved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother!  She babysat many children in her home through the years.

She is survived by her husband, Stan; daughter, Gretchen (Jeff) Meadows of Camp Creek, WV; son, Dean (Andrea) Biberstein of Stratton, NE; son, Lonnie (Rene) Biberstein of Bluffton; son, Duane (Falisha) Biberstein of Decatur; daughter, Rachel (Michael) Summers of Decatur; and daughter, Beverly (Jeff) Lichtensteiger of Ohio City, OH.  Delilah is also survived by 28 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren; a brother, Ralph (Rosie) Aschliman of Bluffton; and a sister, Arlene (Steve) Stump of Decatur.

Aside from her parents, Delilah was preceded in death by a sister, Nancy Herring; two brothers, David Aschliman and Richard Aschliman; along with two grandchildren.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2025, from 2 until 8 p.m., at Goodwin – Harnish Funeral Home in Bluffton.  Services will be officiated by Rev. Dan York on Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2025, at 10 a.m., at the funeral home, with one hour of visitation prior to the service.  Burial will follow at the Apostolic Christian Cemetery in Adams County.
