Notice to Residents Concerning

Project Extending Sewer

Service And Public Hearing

The Wells County Regional Sewer District has sent written notice to property owners who own property which may be affected by the Boards decision to extend sewer service to certain project locations in Wells County Indiana. Property owners who own property in the following areas located in Wells County, Indiana, may be affected by the project and the extension of service:

Tocsin – Tocsin project consists of the construction of the installation of a sanitary sewer collection system within the unincorporated area of Tocsin and the homes on 600 E approximately 2,000 feet south of US Route 224 and 3,200 feet north of US Route 224, where it will be pumped via forced main west down US Route 224 where it will tie into the Kingsland sanitary sewer collection system at the intersection of US Route 224 and 250 E.

Specific project information is on file with the Board of Trustees of the Wells County Regional Sewer District. Information concerning the proposed project and the list of property addresses which may be required to connect or may be affected by the projects and extension of service can be found on the district’s website at https://wellsrsd.com/documents/1876/Tocsin_Project_Addresses.pdf.

Please look for additional published notices for project area site meetings to be conducted by the District Superintendent to answer questions about the project and specific site areas and connections. The Board of Trustees of the Wells County Regional Sewer District will hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday, October 31, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. in the Wells County Carnegie Annex building located at 223 West Washington Street, Bluffton, IN 46714, to discuss the project and hear public questions and comments.
