Reuben L. Wickey, 70, of Monroe, Indiana, died July 25, 2025, at 11:27 p.m. at his home. He was born Dec. 22, 1954, in Adams County to Levi R. and Anna Wickey.
His wife Rosina M. Wickey survives. He is also survived by children, Reuben (Ann) Wickey Harlan, Indiana, Rachel (Paul) Lengacher of Harlan, Indiana, Menno (Delilah) Wickey of Berne, , Wilma (Atlee) Weaver of Bluffton, Katie (Michael) Schwartz of Woodburn, Indiana, Anna (Emanuel) Weaver of Bluffton, Lucy (Ben) Girod of Berne, Levi (Caroline) Wickey of Bryant, David (Maggie) Wickey of Geneva, Andrew (Lilliah) Wickey of Monroe, Indiana; brothers and sisters, Katie L. (late Dan) Schwartz of Berne, Dave (Barbara) Wickey of Lagrange, Indiana, Beckey (Levi) Schwartz of Monroe, Indiana, Johnny (Mary) Wickey, Late Levi (Frances) Wickey of Geneva, Jake (Becky) Wickey of Decatur, Adel (Johnny) Schwartz of Monroe, Indiana, MaryAnn (Daniel) Schwartz of Monroe, Indiana, Joe Wickey of Berne, Henry (Barbara) Wickey of Berne and Ida (David) Schwartz of Monroe, Indiana; along with 85 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He is proceeded in death by two grandsons; parents Levi R. and Anna Wickey; brothers Levi, Ervin and Christine; sister Rosie; and in-laws, Annie Wickey and Lizzie Wickey.
Viewing will be held at the residence, 3177 W. 200 S., Monroe, Indiana, on Sunday, July 27, 2025, from 2 to 8 p.m. and Monday, July 28, 2025, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. The funeral will take place on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at 9 a.m. Officiating will be Amos Schwartz. Burial will follow at Winchester Cemetery.
