Norwell sweeps Marion in volleyball
Norwell swept their third straight game in volleyball Tuesday night at The Castle.The Knights defeated Marion and won by scores of 25-8, 25-15 and 25-5. Their record is now 10-7 on the season.Stat leaders: Vanessa Rosswurm with nine kills, Autumn Lee six aces, Emma Vachon 28 assists, Mekynzi Beck with two blocks and Rebecca Settle eight digs.Norwell also won the junior varsity contest 2-0 (25-7, 25-7).
Norwell will be at Leo to begin conference play at 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 19.
Knights edge Bulldogs in NE8 tennis

Mann’s 3 goals lead Knights vs. Panthers
Norwell defeated Eastbrook on the road 4-0 Tuesday night.Grace Mann scored a hat trick and picked up an assist on the night, tallying her goal total to now 23 on the season. Aubrey Meyer scored and Karrigan Melcher added an assist. Norwell improves its record to 7-4 on the season.Shae Brooks and Emma Garner were in net for the Knights.Norwell tied the junior varsity match 0-0. Maggie Neuenschwander, Garner and Brooks were in net for Norwell.
Norwell will be at South Adams at 5 p.m. Thursday Sept. 19.
Raiders fall to Patriots in ACAC V-ball
Southern Wells fell 3-0 on the road in volleyball to Heritage on Tuesday.The Raiders lost by scores of 25-20, 25-8 and 25-16. They’re now 8-8 (0-2) on the season.Abbie Powell had eight kills and 16 digs for the Raiders, while Aly Green had four kills and Kaylea Coffel 10 digs.Southern Wells will be at home against ACAC and county rival Bluffton at 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 17.
