We seriously live in the best community ever! We are amazed at the generosity of our local businesses, who continue to give back to our community, and it was so exciting for the Wells Community Pool to benefit from their kindness. For those who haven’t heard, multiple businesses and organizations contacted us to purchase pool passes for free admission during this heat wave. Follow the Wells Community Pool on Facebook for a list of free admission in the following weeks.
We have some incredible concerts lined up for the upcoming weekend. DEF LEGGEND, the most authentic Def Leppard Tribute in the world, is set to deliver an experience of sight and sound that is unmatched. Comprising of veteran musicians, mostly local to Dallas, Texas, DEF LEGGEND’s members have a combined 100 years of playing experience and have previously performed at some of the country’s most incredible venues and festivals. Get ready for a weekend filled with music and fun.
Join us on Friday, June 28, for a free concert from 8-10 p.m. at Kehoe Park along the Wabash River. Bring your lawn chair and a few dollars to purchase something delicious from D&D Fish and Tenderloin or Sweet Creations Food Trucks. Special thanks to Title Sponsors Wells County Foundation and ProFed Federal Credit Union.
Then, on Sunday, come back for the annual Community Worship Celebration featuring the Southern Wells Community Church on June 30 at Kehoe Park from 7-8:30 p.m. The concert is free, and Kenzie’s Coneys will be available if you want to get something to eat during the performance. This concert is sponsored by the generosity of National Oil & Gas and LifeWise Academy.
