Excavation work on the Interurban Trail is almost done, so if all goes well, they will start paving by the end of next week. Drain tiles have been installed under the Pickleball Courts at Lancaster Park, and they seem to be doing an excellent job of carrying away all the rainwater. Let’s cross our fingers for some lovely dry days for good paving conditions.

We want to close today’s article with a shout-out to the James S. Jackson Co. crew for volunteering to install the NEW Life-size Human Foosball game at Lancaster Park. They were fantastic to work with during the park’s construction process, and we are so impressed with how they went above and beyond, giving their time and talent to add this unique feature. The money we saved through their generosity and under their leadership really helped us stretch our budget to make this an amazing park. Words cannot express how grateful we are to have such outstanding local businesses that put the community first.

Have a great week!
