Hannah Mari Davis, 18, of Ossian, passed away on Wednesday morning, Feb. 7, 2024, at her home.

She was born on Aug. 18, 2005, in Fort Wayne to Harbert “Jim” M. Davis, IV., and Mayumi (Hamano) Davis. Hannah was a sophomore at Bluffton High School. Her laughter and huge smile were contagious, and she always shared them with everyone around her. She loved being around people, listening to music, and going for walks.

She is survived by her parents Harbert “Jim” and Mayumi Davis, IV., of Ossian, along with her siblings, Jessica Davis, Mary Davis, Emily Davis and Harbert “Jimmy” M. Davis, V.  She is also survived by her grandparents, Hideo and Yoshie Hamano of Japan, aunts and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Harbert M. and Mary Davis, III.

Visitation will take place from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 12, 2024, at the Thoma/Rich, Lemler Funeral Home in Bluffton.

Funeral services will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2024, at the funeral home with the Rev. Lyle Breeding officiating, with visitation for one hour prior to the service.

Burial will take place on Tuesday afternoon at Elm Ridge Memorial Park located in Muncie.

Memorials may be made in Hannah’s memory to Easter Seals ARC of Northeast Indiana and can be directed to the funeral home.
