Friday, 4:39 p.m., South Main Street and East Wiley Avenue. Welfare check requested for two people carrying small child wrapped in sheet. Subjects were walking home to apartment; it was their child.
Friday, 6:17 p.m., 200 block of South Jersey Street. Welfare check requested for woman. Juvenile at woman’s residence advised she was in the hospital and would have her contact the caller.
Friday, 6:57 p.m., Wells County Public Library. Report of a male juvenile that offered caller’s granddaughter marijuana and to go to Florida. Officers unable to locate subject.
Friday, 11:57 p.m., Budget Inn. Caller requested assistance with eviction.
Saturday, 12:28 a.m., 200 block of East South Street. Caller reported unknown subject in residence that left through the back door. Unable to locate.
Saturday, 5:07 a.m., Hoosier House Restaurant. Employee unable to access building due to frozen door. Officer made entry.
Saturday, 12:07 p.m., North Main and West Water streets. Report of a man under the bridge.
Saturday, 10:49 p.m., Wells County Highway Department. Report of alarm at location, subject advised to disregard as the lock on the building is frozen. Buildings are also alarmed at this weather.
Sunday, 4:13 a.m., Capri Meadows. Caller found item in closet she did not put there, requested officer to check it out.
Sunday, 1:48 p.m., Dollar General South. Report of theft.
Monday, 7:30 a.m., 350 North and Ind. 1. Driver blew a tire, officer followed vehicle to Walmart.
Monday, 10:15 a.m., 300 block of West Wabash Street. Report of a stolen television from apartment.
