Twenty Indiana marching bands competed Saturday in the annual “On the Banks of the Wabash” competition at Bluffton High School. The BHS band closed the evening with “9 O’Clock on a Saturday,” featuring “Piano Man” by Billy Joel, as a nod to the group’s performance time, 9:30 p.m. The day was also proclaimed as “Jim Bueter Day” by Mayor John Whicker.
