We hope you have a safe and happy 4th of July Tuesday. The Wells Community Pool will be open for you to cool off if the weather cooperates. Due to the holiday, the weekly Farm Wagon will not be offered on Tuesday, as well as the Free Pickleball or Aqua Aerobics. Tennis lessons are also suspended for the week of July 3 – 7.

The City of Bluffton/ Wells County Fireworks show is scheduled from 10-10:15 p.m., and please remember that fireworks are not allowed in any city park.

Join us at this season’s third FREE Friday night concert July 7 at Kehoe Park from 8 to 10 p.m. along the Wabash River. (rain site, if needed, is Life Community Church 428 S Oak). Their name says it all: The Dave Matthews Tribute Band. For nearly 20 years, the band has been performing sold-out shows worldwide, playing over 1,500 dates in 46 states and 8 countries. Many go to their live shows with reservations, high expectations, and the burning question, “Do these guys sound like the real Dave Matthews Band?” Almost always, the answer is, “Yes.”

Bring your lawn chair and a few dollars if you want to purchase something delicious from Kenzie’s Coneys or the Big Dipper dessert truck. 2 Pour Guys will be serving your favorite adult beverages, so remember to bring your ID. This concert is sponsored by the generosity of Barkley Builders, Inc. Special thanks to Title Sponsors Wells County Foundation and ProFed Credit Union.

Sign your child up for FREE Bucket Drumming. Children age 4 and up are invited to learn some basic drumming skills while playing a bucket and improving rhythm and coordination skills. Things are moving along well at Lancaster Park. Coblentz Construction is working on the pavilion foundation, and utilities are not far off. The park will be closed to the public now that it is under construction. We will be sure to post regular updates as the park progresses.

Have a great week!
