County fair officials recognized 33 members Saturday night who have been 4-Hers for ten years. Listed below are the members who were honored by Anya Aulbach, 4-H Youth Extension Educator.
Lydia Athan is the daughter of Thomas and Heather Athan. She is a member of Hurryin’ Harrison 4-H club. She graduated from Bluffton High School and her future plans include attending Ivy tech to study either Psychology or Elementary Education. She is involved in dairy feeder and swine projects. Her favorite 4-H memory is winning champion dairy feeder in 2019.
Claire Bailey is the daughter of Kyle and Wendy Bailey. She is a 10- year member of the Lancaster Achievers 4-H Club. She graduated from Norwell High school and her future plans include attending Taylor University to study nursing and run track. She is involved in beef and swine. Her favorite memory is eating lunch on show days with her family in their tent.
Emma Bailey is the daughter of Cliff and Brenda Bailey. She is a member of the Rockcreek Rollers 4-H club. She graduated from Norwell High School and her future plans include attending Purdue University to study animal science and one day be a veterinarian. She is involved in beef, dairy feeder, dairy beef, swine and sewing projects. Her favorite 4-H memory is spending long days at the fair with family and friends.
Lleyton Bailey is the son of Clete and Jen Bailey. He is a member of Rockcreek Rollers 4-H club. He graduated from Norwell High School and his future plans include attending Ball State University to study business. He is involved in swine projects. His favorite 4-H memory is walking his pigs in the show arena.
Andrew Ball is the son of Wayne and Sarah Ball. He is a member of Hurryin’ Harrison 4-H club. He graduated from Bluffton High School and his future plans include entering trade school. He is involved in sheep and goat projects. His favorite memory is riding rides at the state fair.
Andrew Barnes is the son of Jon and Jen Barnes. He is a member of Rockcreek Rollers 4-H Club. He graduated from Norwell High school and his future plans involve working on CDL. He is involved in dairy, dairy feeder and dairy beef. His favorite 4-H memory is hanging out with friends at the fair that he otherwise doesn’t see often.
Jenna Bauermeister is the daughter of Terry and Lori Bauermeister. She is a 10-year member of the Jefferson Knightriders 4-H Club. She graduated from Norwell High School and her future plans include attending IU-Fort Wayne to study sonography. She is involved in dairy beef, dairy feeder and poultry. Her favorite 4-H memory is participating in barn watch with her family.
Landri Bauermeister is the son of Jeff and Lorie Bauermeister. He is a member of Jefferson Knightriders 4-H Club. He graduated from Norwell High School.
Rachel Bauermeister is the daughter of Brian and Sheryl Bauermeister. She is a member of Jefferson Knightriders 4-H Club. She graduated from Norwell High School and her future plans include attending Purdue University to study kinesiology. She is involved with dairy beef, dairy feeder, swine, poultry, and cake decorating projects. Her favorite 4-H memory is showing with her sisters.
Brody Bolyn is the son of Ryan and Melissa Bolyn. He is a member of Rockcreek Rollers. He graduated from Norwell High School and his plans include attending Bowling Green State University to study secondary education and play football. He is involved in horse and pony, woodworking, and electrical projects. His favorite 4-H memory is participating in his first Spirit Night with friends.
Xander Borne is the son of Jason and Kristin Borne. He is a member of Rockcreek Rollers 4-H Club. He graduated from Norwell High School and his future plans include attending Purdue-Fort Wayne to study computer science. He is involved in swine and junior leader projects and his favorite 4-H memory is at his first auction when his barrow ran into the fence , knocking off a kid who was sitting on it.
Lilly Bowman is the daughter of Jr and Kristin Crull. She is a 10-year member of the Liberty Happy-Go-Lucky 4-H Club. She graduated from Bluffton High School and her future plans include attending lvy Tech to study nursing. She is involved in horse and pony and photography projects. Her favorite 4-H memory is participating in the horse and pony fun shows.
Caroline Buskirk is the daughter of Matt and Becky Buskirk. She is a member of Jefferson Knightriders 4-H club. She graduated from Bluffton High School. She was involved in rabbit and swine projects in 4-H.
Bailey Couch is the daughter of Kyle and Whitney Couch. She is a member of Chester Chargers 4-H Club. She graduated from Southern Wells High School. She is involved in the beef and swine projects.
Rialey Cox is the daughter of Marc and Sabrina Cox. She is a member of the Wells County Horse and Pony Club. She graduated from Bellmont High School. She is involved in horse and pony projects.
Hailey Duncan is the daughter of Chris and Stacey Duncan. She is a member of the Chester Chargers 4-H Club. She graduated from Southern Wells High School and her future plans include attending Purdue Fort Wayne to study elementary education. She is involved in dairy feeder projects. Her favorite 4-H memory is 4-H camp and being in the show ring
Hannah Duncan is the daughter of Chris and Stacey Duncan. She is a member of the Chester Chargers 4-H Club. She graduated from Southern Wells High School and her future plans include attending IU Fort Wayne to study Dental Hygiene. She is involved in dairy feeder projects. Her favorite 4-H memory is participating in Spirit Night with friends.
Kaylee Fisher is the daughter of Stacey and Melissa Fisher. She is a member of Rockcreek Rollers 4-H club. She graduated from Norwell High School and her future plans include attending Huntington University to study veterinary nursing. She is involved in swine, cake decorating, goats, dairy feeder and photography projects. Her favorite 4-H memory is when her dairy feeder, Lucky, was shown in Royal Showmanship.
Graham Gaier is the son of Scott and Angie Gaier. He is a member of the Rockcreek Rollers 4-H Club. He graduated from Norwell High School and his future plans include going to basic training then attending Purdue University to study ag systems management. He is involved in the dairy feeder, dairy beef, poultry and woodworking projects and his favorite memory during 4-H is having fun with friends in the barns.
Luke Herrell is the son of Terry and Beth Herrell. He is a member of Rockcreek Roller 4-H Club. He graduated from Norwell High School and his future plans include attending Purdue University to study ag systems management. He is involved in Modles and arts and crafts projects. Hhis favorite 4-H memory is hanging out with friends at the fair.
Brooklynn Huss is the daughter of Nathan and Missy Huss. She is a member of the Lancaster Achievers 4-H Club. She graduated from Norwell High School and her future plans include attending Mid America College of Funeral Service to study mortuary science. She is involved in dairy feeder and dairy beef projects and her favorite 4-H memory is showing her heaviest steer her first year showing dairy beef.
Gabrielle Kiess is the daughter of Brian and Gina Kiess. She is a member of the Rockcreek Roller 4-H Club. She graduated from Homestead High School and her future plans include Attending Purdue University to study and undecided major. She is involved in horse and pony, llama and alpaca, dairy goats, meat goats, photography, cake decorating, and other projects. Her favorite 4-H memory is winning grand champion in barrels and pole runoff in the same night.
RieAnn Krinn is the daughter of Matt and Shelley Krinn. She is a member of Rockcreek Rollers 4-H club. She graduated from Norwell High School and her future plans include attending IUPUl to study health and human sciences. She is involved in swine, archery, sewing, photography, arts and crafts, foods, and cake decorating projects. Her favorite 4-H memory is having friends over to work on cakes together.
Michael Maldeney is the son of Brian Maldeney and Pam Parker. He is a member of Jefferson Knightriders 4-H Club. He graduated from Norwell High School and his future plans include attending Purdue Fort Wayne to study Mechanical Engineering. He is involved in woodworking and rabbit projects. His favorite 4-H memory includes making an American flag coffee table for woodworking.
Grace Meeks is the daughter of David and Jennifer Meeks. She is a member of the Liberty Happy-Go-Lucky 4-H Club. She graduated from Southern Wells High School and her future plans include attending Ball State to study exercise science. She is involved in goats, rabbits, sewing and fashion review projects and her favorite 40H memory is getting dressed up and participating in spirit night with friends.
Marin Melcher is the son of Tim and Marcey Melcher. He is a member of the Jefferson Knightriders 4-H Club. He graduated from Norwell High School and his future plans include attending Ball State University to study aquatic biology. He is involved in entomology projects. His favorite 4-H memory is going to state fair with his entomology projects multiple times.
Elle Misch is the daughter of Mark and Jamie Misch. She is a member of Rockcreek Rollers 4-H Club. She graduated from Norwell High School and her future plans include attending Purdue University to study agribusiness and marketing. She is involved in poultry, swine and photography projects. Her favorite 4-H memory is participating in showmanship with friends.
Brooklyn Moore is the daughter of Mike Moore and Tara Jones-Moore. She is a member of the Chester Chargers 4-H Club. She graduated from Southern Wells High School and her future plans involve attending Lakeland College for two years, and then she hopes to transfer to Purdue University to study livestock embryology. She is involved in swine, sheep, goats, and horse and pony projects. Her favorite 4-H memory is winning champion market goat showmanship at the state fair.
Jenson Nusbaumer is the son of Jesston and Beth Nusbaumer. He is a member of the Chester Chargers 4-H Club. He graduated from Southern Wells High School and his future plans include going into the HVAC field. He is involved in sheep, swine, beef and goat projects. His favorite 4-H memory is hanging out with his friends.
Jena Perez is the daughter of Peggy Lautzenheiser and Mario Perez. She is a member of the Hurryin’ Harrison 4-H Club. She graduated from Indiana Connections Career Academy and her future plans include attending Purdue University to double major in psychology and biology. She is involved in arts and crafts, vet science, llama and alpaca, archery, dog, and rabbit projects. Her favorite 4-H memory is qualifying for state fair with her alpaca Feno.
Skyla Tomasek is the daughter of Dan and Kamie Tomasek. She is a member of the Lancaster Achievers 4-H Club. She graduated from Norwell High School and her future plans include attending Rochester University to study HR management, sports management and play basketball. She is involved in horse and pony, swine, sewing, fashion review, and additional projects. Her favorite 4-H memory is making friendships during fashion review.
Brody Tonner is the son of Brent and Rachelle Tonner. He is a member of the Wells County Shot Gun Club. He graduated from Stillwater Academy. He is involved in shooting sports projects.
Jaylynn Wells is the daughter of Kristin Wells and Dustin Dennal and James and Kristi Wells. She is a member ofthe Nottingham Nobles. She graduated from Norwell High School and her future plans include attending an undecided college to become a police officer. She is involved in llama and alpaca, arts and crafts, animal posters, rabbits, and many other projects. Her favorite 4-H memory is winning grand champion in a variety of projects.
