The Wells County Chamber of Commerce staff and ambassadors celebrated with Chelsea Beer changing the name from Stag Bar & Grill to Unique Blue Bar & Grill. The event commemorated the introduction of several exciting changes, including the implementation of a smoke-free policy effective June 21. The establishment will continue to welcome patrons aged 21 and over, while enhancing the dining experience with the addition of outdoor seating.

Chelsea expressed her enthusiasm for the transformation, stating, “I thought it was time for a change. We have a great menu of food, constantly changing items, and the outside seating allows for a great experience.” The decision to go smoke-free reflects a commitment to providing a healthier and more enjoyable environment for customers.

The newly added outdoor seating area aims to cater to the preferences of patrons who appreciate dining outside during the warm weather. Chelsea commented, “people like to sit outside and eat. We wanted to offer something different.” The expansion of seating options is expected to attract a broader customer base and create a fresh atmosphere at Unique Blue Bar & Grill.

In conjunction with these changes, the establishment has also unveiled an updated menu, effective immediately. Chelsea mentioned, “we have added some dishes to the menu, will offer weekly and weekend specials, also adding featured items. Our goal is to offer a variety of options to our valued customers.” Chef Ethan Gendreau, excels at crafting delectable dishes from scratch, ensuring an enjoyable dining experience for all.

Chelsea anticipates a positive response to the smoke-free policy, stating, “I think it will go well for the dining customers and help our business.” The transition is expected to attract new customers and foster a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons.

Regarding the decision to change the name of the establishment, Chelsea explained, “I feel people are very visual and if we change the image from the outside, people will better understand it’s different from the inside as well.” The name change reflects the innovative and unique offerings of Unique Blue Bar & Grill. “My daughter was the inspiration because she loves the color blue.”

Renovations to the building structure have also taken place, with repainted ceiling tiles and a refurbished roof. These updates are part of ongoing efforts to enhance the overall ambiance and customer experience.

Chelsea’s journey at Unique Blue Bar & Grill began in 2013 as a bartender at the Stag Bar, eventually taking over operations in 2019. The establishment’s commitment to the community is evident through active participation in local events and charitable endeavors. Chelsea emphasized, “supporting and giving back to the community is important. We want to keep small businesses thriving, help families, and provide employment opportunities. It is important to support one another.”

At Unique Blue Bar & Grill, patrons can look forward to a vibrant calendar of events, including Trivia Night, Glow Parties, Comedy Nights, Karaoke, Music Bingo, and special holiday events. Chelsea expressed her dedication to offering a diverse range of activities, saying, “we try to bring in a variety of activities for people to enjoy.”
