Thursday, 3:10 p.m., Bluffton Police Department. Report of a lost phone. Owner was contacted.

Thursday, 7:04 p.m., 80 block of Sunset Drive. Mother requested assistance with combative teen.

Thursday, 8:36 p.m., 100 block of North Morgan Street. Report of several adults and children threatening to shoot the caller’s home. Several trespass warnings were issued.

Thursday, 10:52 p.m., Praxis. Woman called and stated that she drank a lot of alcohol and is starting to shake and no one is helping her. Officers stood by while medics evaluated.

Thursday, 11:17 p.m., 200 block of White Bridge Court. Report of juveniles pointing green laser into peoples houses. 

Thursday, 11:45 p.m., Oubache State Park. Officers gave subject a ride home.

Friday, 1:26 a.m., Dutch Mill Plaza. Caller reported woman attempting to jump into river and was holding her back. The woman was detained.

Friday, 10:53 a.m., 500 block of Linnwood Drive. Caller requested assistance delivering message. Officer assisted.

Friday, 11:46 a.m., Dedrick and Sons Tool and Die. Report of fraud.

Friday, 1:12 p.m., Almco Steel Products. Report of male and female going on foot to the tracks to possibly  obtain scrap metal. The caller advised they were trespassing and the male stated he would go back by Almco and the old cemetery.

Friday, 1:32 p.m., near 100 North Oak Street. Officer spoke with subjects and advised not to take items that were not on their property or to travel through other people’s properties to obtain items.

Thursday, 3:40 p.m., east Rose Road and north Meridian Road. Missing stop sign. 

Thursday, 4:34 p.m., residence in Vera Cruz. Report of fighting where one subject was armed with a knife. The knife had been thrown into the yard when law enforcement arrived, but several witnesses corroborated that Shannon Wade White, 52, Geneva, had charged at a man with a knife and a baseball bat. White was reportedly intoxicated and got into an argument. A portable breath test returned at 0.176 percent. White was arrested for battery committed with a deadline weapon, a Level 5 felony, and intimidation with a deadly weapon, a Level 5 felony. No bond set.

Thursday, 7:23 p.m., residence in Warren. Caller reported their neighbor was threatening her children as they were driving on the shared driveway. The caller said the neighbor had sent messages threatening to slash the caller’s car tires. Report to follow. 

Thursday, 11:37 p.m., Ouabache State Park. Report of an agitated male asking people to call 911. Man explained he was trying to get someone’s attention at the gate house, which was closed. He was no longer upset and said he just wanted to go home. 

Friday, 6:07 a.m., west Ind. 124 and north 200W. Citation issued for 75 in a 55 mph zone. 

ACCIDENTS

County:

Wednesday, 5 a.m., Ind. 218 at the intersection of CR 100W, Poneto. Lori L. Perry, 52, Montpelier, was driving a 2016 Chevrolet Traverse westbound on Ind. 218 near CR 200W and struck a deer in the roadway. Damage exceeded $2,500.

ARRESTS

Richard Owen McAfee, 68, Knoxville, Tenn.; theft, a Class A misdemeanor. Booked and released. 

Sarena Diane Angel Chacon, 18, Ossian; possession of marijuana, a Class B misdemeanor, and operating a vehicle with a controlled substance in the body. Bond set at $1,500. Bonded. 

Asia Marie Hulbert, 31, Fort Wayne; dealing marijuana, a Class B misdemeanor. Booked and released.
