The Bluffton Optimist Club and Ouabache State Park will host a fishing derby Saturday, June 23, at the park.
Registration is from 6:30 to 10 a.m. Saturday and the competition will be from 10 to 11 a.m.
The drawing for prizes will start at 11 a.m.
The derby is for youth 16 years of age and under. Live bait will be provided and a limited number of fishing poles will also be provided as needed.
It is a free fishing weekend at the state park, so no license is required, but paid entry fee to the park is required.
