New officers for 2023-24 were installed Wednesday night for American Legion Post 111 of Bluffton.

Robert G. Buehl will return to the position of post commander, with Craig G. Mann as the 1st vice commander, and Daniel R. Lavine as the 2nd vice commander. The position of 3rd vice commander is open.

Other officers include Richard R. Smith as the finance officer and the sergeant-at-arms, Jeff L. Moss as the adjutant, Norman L. Bailey and Monte F. Fisher as two-year board members, George C. Thomas and Rodger D. Popplewell as one-year board members, Thomas also serving as the assistant sergeant-at-arms, Popplewell also serving as the assistant finance officer, Dr. Bryson Gene Bell as chaplain, and Daniel K. Nicholson as past commander.

The installation ceremony was held at the post home at 111 W. Washington St. in Bluffton.
