If you haven’t checked out the Wells County Public Library lately, you’re missing the full story — stop by for a visit to celebrate National Library Week, April 23-29.

Most people know about the wealth of stories available at the library, from picture books and large print to audiobooks and eBooks. But there’s so much more to the story of libraries.

Libraries are welcoming spaces that bring communities together for entertainment, education, and connection through book clubs, story sessions, movie nights, crafting classes, presentations, and more.

The WCPL offers a wide array of programs, classes and resources, including a library of things where the public can loan mobile hotspots, Science Central and museum passes, board and yard games, musical instruments, cake pans, media equipment, and more.

Next week, the library will also offer a number of special events. On Monday, pop in to get a free bag of popcorn or pretzels while supplies last, and throughout the week, enjoy free printing, copying and faxing. Plus, stop by the front desk to pick up a heart and share what you love most about WCPL or purchase a “We HEART Our Library” yard sign for $10 to help support the Friends of the Library.
