Thursday, 3:51 p.m., residence on East Horton Street. Caller says her phone alerted to an airtag following her location and believes she is being tracked. Advised to call if she finds airtag or sees anything suspicious. 

Thursday, 4:18 p.m., Dedrick and Sons Tool and Die. Alarm. Building secured. 

Thursday, 4:32 p.m., Budget Inn. Caller said juveniles were trying to break into the storage room and would not leave. Advised to contact the courthouse about evictions.

Thursday, 5:30 p.m., Bluffton Police Department. Father requesting to file a report of alleged abuse by the mother to their child. 

Thursday, 7:37 p.m., YMCA. Report of stolen wallet. 

Thursday, 9:22 p.m., residence on West Wabash Street. Attempt to locate juvenile. Brought back to the police department. 

Friday, 1:03 a.m., North Main Street and East Monroe Street. Citation issued for driving with a suspended license and no insurance provided. 

Friday, 2:07 a.m., residence on South Oak Street. Trespassing.

Friday, 3:52 a.m., South Johnson and West Wiley Avenue. Debris in the roadway. 

Friday, 5:25 a.m., 1115 South Morgan Street. Tree limb fallen in power line. 

Friday, 6:56 a.m., South Johnson Street and West Central Avenue. Debris in the roadway. 

Friday, 7:01 a.m., Hardees. Recently-fired employee and a sibling yelling at the staff and seem dangerous. Advised to call if they return. 

Friday, 9:04 a.m., Monument Center. Sleeping bag found on the north side of the road with belongings inside. Nothing suspicious noted. 

Friday, 9:10 a.m., 928 West Washington Street. Small bike found in the alley.

Friday, 9:56 a.m., 923 Riverview Drive. Subaru keyfob found. 

Friday, 10:29 a.m., YMCA. Report of stolen wallet. 

Friday, 10:58 a.m., Walmart. Two vehicle accident. Report to follow.

Friday, 1:44 p.m., North Main Street and East 300N. Citation issued for 57 in a 30 mph zone.

Thursday, 2:30 p.m., North Main St. and East Dustman Road, Bluffton. Dubri removed from the roadway. 

Thursday, 4:42 p.m., residence on 500W, Markle. Report of trappers on this 

property without owner’s permission. Caller was in Fort Wayne and reporting on behalf of property owner. Advised if the incident was not actively occuring there was no action to be taken. 

Thursday, 4:51 p.m., residence on 300N, Craigville. Verbal dispute between parent and child. Parties separated. 

Thursday, 5:50 p.m., Southeast Mulberry Street and Southwest Center Street, Bluffton. Women recently left Landmark Recovery and is looking for a ride. Transported to Parkview Hospital for voluntary mental health commitment. 

Thursday, 5:51 p.m., residence on 75E, Uniondale. Caller reported someone has opened cell phone accounts with the caller’s name and social security number.

Friday, 10:46 p.m., Liberty Center Volunteer Fire Department. Door blown open due to high winds. Building cleared.

Thursday, 7:13 a.m., County Road 100E near Ind. 218, Poneto. James Bess, 31, Montpelier, was driving a 2022 IC INT school bus northbound on 100E when a deer ran into the passenger side, damaging the front wheel well area and main bus door. Damage exceeded $2,500. 

Thursday, 8:53 p.m., Ind. 116, Markle. Matthew Favory, 37, Markle, was driving a 2020 Honda Odyssey minivan and struck a deer. Damage exceeded $5,000.

Thursday, 2:16 p.m., Christian Care Retirement, Bluffton. Accidentally nicked an unmarked line. NIPSCO responded. 

Thursday, 3:39 p.m., 5040 SE Ind. 116. Grass fire. 

Thursday, 4:12 p.m., Subway, Bluffton. Vehicle seat on fire. Freeman’s Towing contacted. 

Friday, 5:25 a.m., 1115 S. Morgan St., Bluffton. Wires down. Bluffton Fire Department contacted. Branch removed. 

ARRESTS

Carter Talmidge Arnold, 68, Bluffton; two counts of child molesting, a Level 1 felony and a Level 4 felony. No bond set. 

Joseph Michael Donohoe, 49, Grant County; driving with a suspended license with a prior suspension within 10 years, a Class A misdemeanor.
