Both the Bluffton girls’ and boys’ swim teams picked up double victories against Wayne and Blackhawk Christian Thursday night, which was also senior night.

The girls won with a team score of 143, Wayne with 54, and Blackhawk with 20.

The boys won with 157 points to Wayne’s 110, and Blackhawk’s 30 to remain undefeated.

The top swimmers listed by the head coach for the girls were Annika Linderwell, Olivia Preister, Zoey Schmidt, Lucia Corkwell, and Lydia Athan.

Individual event winners for the boys were:

• Austin Davis in the diving events.

• Dalton Rodgers in the 200-yard freestyle.

• Gavin Yergler in the 50-yard freestyle.

• Isaac Wheeler in the 100-yard butterfly.

• Noah Brooks in the 100-yard freestyle.

• Ashton Arnett in the 400-yard freestyle.

• Elija Robles in the 100-yard breaststroke.

• Max Worth Brooks, Yergler, and Rodgers in the 400-yard freestyle relay.

Both teams will be competing for the Allen County Athletic Conference championship meet at 5:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 20.
