Norwell head baseball coach Dave Goodmiller turns the switch on to activate the lights at the Norwell baseball diamond Tuesday. To the right of Goodmiller are assistant coach James Feldheiser, Superintendent Mike Springer, Northern Wells Community Schools Board members Gene Donaghy, President Angie Topp, and Chad Kline, and Norwell Athletic Director Kelby Weybright. Two of the new light standards can be seen at the center and on the right of the above photo. The controls are on the west wall of the baseball/tennis pavilion, about 100 feet away from the nearest light standard. The photo below shows how well the lights brighten the field at night.
