Gretel Denise Feller, 68, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2023, at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne.
She was born in Honeybee, Ky., to Leamon and Dorothy Mae Branscum Perry. Her parents preceded her in death.
Gretel married Don Feller June 18, 1977, and he survives.
She worked as a legal assistant for most of her career, most recently for Shilts and Setlak Law Office.
Gretel enjoyed being with her family and gambling. Above all else, she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
Surviving are her children, Dustin Feller and Julie (Chris) McCormick; an honorary daughter, Amanda White; five grandchildren, Noah, Madalynn, Austin, Elle, and Camden; three brothers, Dorman (Sharon) Perry, Lionel (Brenda) Perry, and Tim (Delania) Perry; two sisters, Joyce (Lenville) Tucker and Genise (Charlie) Hanna; and a sister-in-law, Pat Perry.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Leamon Perry Jr.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 23, at the Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road in Fort Wayne, with visitation one hour prior to the service. There will also be visitation from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 22, at the funeral home.
Burial will be in the Prospect Cemetery, 760W-900N in Wells County.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners Hospitals for Children.
