Several schools have announced Veterans Day programs. They include:

Southern Wells Community Schools will honor military veterans again this year with a breakfast and a program Friday, Nov. 11.

Veterans and a guest are invited to share in the breakfast from 7 to 7:45 a.m. Veterans, their guests, and the public are invited to the program at 8:15 a.m. where the guest speaker will be Pat Miller, who is the afternoon talk show host on WOWO radio in Fort Wayne.

Those attending are asked to enter Door 4, which is located behind the school. The address for SWCS is 9120S-300W, Poneto.

Those attending breakfast are asked to RSVP at 765-728-5534.

Ossian Elementary School’s fourth and fifth grade students will host a Veterans Day program Thursday, Nov. 10, at 6:30 p.m. and Friday, Nov. 11, at 10 a.m. The door to the school’s gymnasium will open a half hour before each program.

Parents, grandparents, and any family members are invited to attend as are former and current military members. Students are encouraged to wear red, white or blue for the program.

• At Lancaster Central Elementary, the fourth and fifth grade students and the school choir will be hosting a Veterans Day program at 2:15 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. in the school’s cafetorium.

Bluffton High School will host a Veterans Day program at 9 a.m. Friday, Nov. 11 in the high school cafetorium. High school students have been asked to invite personal acquaintances or family members who have served in the military.
