Saturday, 10:38 a.m., residence on Wiley Avenue. Report of man stalking outside of apartment. Man warned for trespassing.

Saturday, 1:11 p.m., Lowes Home Improvement Store. Caller reported another vehicle had hit his and driven away.

Saturday, 4:11 p.m., 2780E at 250N. pole down on the roadway.

Saturday, 5:33 p.m., Walmart Supercenter. Predator catchers company speaking with adult man at this location. 

Saturday, 8:38 p.m., residence on West Wiley Avenue. Report of a suspicious man knocking on door and hanging around on the porch.

Saturday, 9:09 p.m., Peyton’s Northern Distribution Center. Collision with a deer.

Sunday, 1:33 a.m., residence on West Market Street. Dispute over placement of leaves and possible car damage. 

Sunday, 8:30 a.m., residence on White Bridge Court. Missing juvenile.

Sunday, 10:11 a.m., Apostolic Church North. Abandoned vehicle. 

Sunday, 11:04 a.m., residence on West Wabash Street. Line down at house.

Sunday, 1:08 p.m., residence on West Townley Street. Report of neighbor burning leaves. Neighbor put out fire but caller is considered about the wind. 

Sunday, 2:20 p.m., Landmark Recovery. Unwanted party. 

Sunday, 2:30 p.m., Linger Inn. Man vomiting and passed out with bottle nearby. Attempted CPR. Narcan administered. Man conscious.

Sunday, 5:49 p.m., residence on West Market Street. Woman heard in upstairs apartment, which is supposed to be vacant. Front door found open. Apartment secured. 

Sunday, 6:42 p.m., North Johnson Street at West Market Street. Woman screaming and cursing. Woman advised a group of juveniles were harassing her. Either party were warned for disorderly conduct. 

Sunday, 8:21 p.m., residence on South Williams Street. Domestic dispute between two women. Officer calmed situation. 

Sunday, 8:28 p.m., residence on South Johnson Street. Report of stolen medication. 

Sunday, 11:32 p.m., Western Avenue at South Adams Street. Wood pallets in roadway.

Sunday, 6:14 a.m., Budget Inn. Man passed out on sidewalk. Man woke up and advised he had been having panic attacks but did not remember passing out. 

Monday, 8:05 a.m., Bluffton-Harrison Elementary School. Staff requested assistance with a student. 

Monday, 10:33 a.m., Bluffton High School. Student found in possession of a vape. 

Monday, 12:25 p.m., Wells County Courthouse. Request for woman to be removed and warned for trespassing.

County:

Friday, 2:12 p.m., residence on West Scott Street, Zanesville. Theft of trailer. 

Friday, 10:33 p.m., 1315 West Cherry Street, Bluffton. Report of man wielding knives and threatening family. Deputies responded and spoke with Christopher Prater, 44, Bluffton, who was agitated and speaking loudly outside the residence. He was warned for disorderly conduct. Deputies spoke with his wife, who said she had begun to leave with her children when Prater cut himself with his Bowie knife. She said after taking the knife from him, Prater had thrown a plastic bottle at her and hit her earlier that night while her children were present. Prater did not cooperate in his arrest and transportation and deputies had to carry him from the car to the Wells County Jail. Having been warned already, deputies notified him he would also be cited for disorderly conduct. Prater was put on suicide watch. Prater was arrested for domestic batter, a Class A misdemeanor, and disorderly conduct, a Class B misdemeanor. Bond set at $26,000. The woman was notified the incident would be reported to the Department of Child Services. She said planned to take the children back to her home in Ohio. 

Saturday, 3:13 a.m., PNC Bank, Bluffton. Man walking downtown and acting paranoid. Man advised he was walking to a friend’s house. 

Saturday, 12:42 p.m., 405E 100S. Utility pole down. County highway put up road closed signs. 

Saturday, 4:08 p.m., West 700N at North 200W. Driver had lost control of vehicle and gone into a ditch. Caller did not wanted to file an accident report but requested the vehicle be towed due to losing a tire.

Saturday, 4:18 p.m., West Ind. 218 at South 300W. Large metal debris in the roadway. 

Saturday, 5:16 p.m., 3595E 1st Street, Petroleum, Power line hanging down. 

Saturday, 6:15 p.m., East U.S. 224 at North Ind. 1. Male driver solicited help from a deputy with unconscious female passenger. Driver advised the passenger was in a wedding and wasn’t feeling well and they had gone on a drive to get air before the woman passed out. The driver said they were on their way to the hospital. Deputy performed a sternum rub and got no response but the woman was breathing. The woman woke up on her own after several minutes. She advised she had been drinking and had taken cold medicine for sickness. Medics were called to the scene but the woman refused treatment. 

Sunday, 3:07 a.m., South 300W at West 1100S. Collision with a deer. Vehicle received no damage and driver did not want to file an accident report. 

Sunday, 5:33 a.m., residence on West Central Avenue. Discharge of a firearm. Owner said he accidentally discharged it. Deputy found projectile mark on the floor and advised the individual to inform the landlord. 

Sunday, 11:35 a.m., residence on 180 East Hall Street, Markle. Woman requesting her ex-boyfriend’s vehicle be towed for her property. Neither the woman or the car’s owner were able to find the keys for the vehicle. The owner advised he would also like the vehicle towed so he could have a new set of keys made. Owner said he would be contacting a tow company. 

Sunday, 12:10 p.m., 868E 700N, Uniondale. Woman reported she was not being allowed to retrieve her belongings from the residence. Man said he would allow her to remove her belongings if he removed his name from their co-signed car loan. Advised to speak with an attorney regarding civil issues and that it would be best to allow the woman to retrieve her belongings. Deputy stood by during the retrieval. 

Sunday, 2 p.m., North 300W at Ind. 116. Man carrying pack of Mountain Dew and asking for rides to Bluffton. Man advised he had been in a verbal altercation with his mother and been kicked out her vehicle and wanted a ride back to Bluffton to look for a job. Transported to the intersection of Market Street and Johnson Street. 

Sunday, 3:22 p.m., 9120S 300W, Poneto. Motorcycle driver reported being hit with corn while following a semi-truck hauling grain. Driver was able to get the semi driver to pull over to exchange information. 

Sunday, 4:07 p.m., residence on 700S. Request for a deputy to standby while setting property markets due to past issues with neighbors. 

Sunday, 5:13 p.m., 412 Countryside Drive, Markle. Observed suspicious behavior from a man. Determined to be a resident of the building and had just been startled. 

Monday, 12:57 a.m., North Main Street at West U.S. 224. Vehicle on the side of the road. Driver advised he was having car trouble and the vehicle would be moved in the morning. 

Monday, 1:21 a.m., Murray Missionary Church, Murray. Lights on and three vehicles in the parking lot. Subject advised they were praying for 24 hours as a church.

Monday, 1:52 a.m., Rose Road at 300N, Bluffton. Various pieces of clothing and trash bags found near guard rail. Apparent littering.
