Criminal Cases

Preliminary plea of not guilty entered for Joshua Suarez, 37, Fort Wayne, charged with driving while suspended with a prior conviction for the same offense, a Class A misdemeanor.

While patrolling south on 300W Sept. 9, a Markle police officer clocked a northbound pickup truck at 68 mph-55 zone and pulled it over near 700N. Suarez was the driver.

Suarez had a previous conviction for driving while suspended Dec. 3, 2021, in Wells Superior Court.

Brian Santana Rodriguez, 26, Fort Wayne, violated probation by failing to check in with the Community Corrections program.

Probation extended six months and may terminate once his community service is complete.

Rodriguez was originally sentenced Feb. 15 on one count of operating a vehicle while intoxicated, a Class C misdemeanor.

Civil Cases

Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles ordered to issue a title for two-wheeled trailer to Harvey Ziegler, Bluffton.
