At its Thursday meeting, Ossian Rotary will welcome Mike Springer, Northern Wells Superintendent as speaker.
Springer has been married 29 years to Arabella (Belle) Springer, who teaches first grade at Ossian Elementary. Together they have four adult children and they are anticipating their first grandchild in late-September.
This is Springer’s 29th year in public education, including six and a half years as a central office administrator. Previously, he served schools in Avon, Goshen, and Wawasee, Indiana, as well as Rantoul, Ill. It is his third year serving as the superintendent at Northern Wells Community Schools.
The meeting is at 7:30 a.m. Thursday at the First Baptist Church of Ossian at 1001 Dehner Drive on the north side of Ossian. Everyone is welcome to attend.
