FLOYD GAHMAN ART EXHIBIT

Floyd Gahman grew up on a family farm in Craigville. His paintings are inspired by everyday scenes of life, ranging from quarries, construction sites, and cityscapes to the tranquility of streams, mountains and forests. He painted in both oils and watercolor. He was a master woodcrafter, and often framed his paintings with reclaimed barn wood. His genuine artistic talent and determination enabled his achievement of the ultimate recognition for an American artist: Election to the National Academy of Design.

Floyd Gahman’s artwork will be on display in the foyer of Life Community Church from Monday, July 18, to Thursday, Aug. 18. The viewing hours are Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Fridays from 9 a.m. to noon.
