The Norwell athletic department was presented with a check for $6,000 from MidWest America Federal Credit Union toward the end of halftime at Friday night’s Norwell-Heritage football game. The cash was generated by Midwest’s Affinity program. Anyone with an account at MidWest may obtain an affinity Visa Credit card that is designated to their school of choice that is a part of the Affinity program, then each time they swipe the card, MidWest makes a small donation to the customer’s member school of choice.
