INCIDENTS
City:
Monday, 4:12 p.m., Walmart Supercenter, 2100 N. Main St. Two boys, three girls believed to have possibly shoplifted items from the store, were yelling at employees of the store when they left. Officer located the five and warned them not to return to Walmart or they would be detained for trespassing.
Monday, 5:17 p.m., Walmart Supercenter, 2100 N. Main St. Store surveillance vide captured an image of someone stealing from the store.
Monday, 7:25 p.m., residence on Woodlawn Street. Officer requested to speak with a recalcitrant 14-year-old girl who was upset about not having what she wanted.
Monday, 8:09 p.m., residence in the 700 block of Cedar Road. Eleven-year-old girl bitten on the left knee by a dog. Information collected for a report.
Monday, 11:13 p.m., residence in the 500 block of East Silver Street. Deputy served a warrant for arrest on Patience R. Awkright, 24, of that address, for seven counts of theft, all Class A misdemeanors. Bond set at $10,500.
Monday, 11:40 p.m., officers located and returned a 12-year-old girl who had ran away from her 200 West Cherry Street residence.
Tuesday, 8:36 a.m., 300 block of West Wabash Street. Wheelchair stolen.
Tuesday, 10:33 a.m., Family Farm and Home, 990 N. Main St. Officer arrested James Marshal Parks, 29, Columbia City, on one count of invasion of privacy, a Class A misdemeanor.
Tuesday, 12:43 p.m., Wells County 4-H Park, 1240 4-H Road. Officer requested to handle a problem with a juvenile.

Monday, 5:39 p.m., 450E near 700N. Suspicious white male in a hooded sweatshirt walking north on 450E. Sheriff’s deputy responded and located the man who said he was walking to Fort Wayne. The deputy offered the man a ride and he declined.
Tuesday, 10:49 a.m., residence on 750E north of 1100N. Burglar alarm. Sheriff’s deputies responded. No sign of foul play found.
FIRES
Tuesday, 7:54 a.m., 412 W. Market Street apartment complex. Smoke in the building. Bluffton Fire Department dispatched. Source of smoke traced to a burned out HVAC motor. Power to motor disconnected and building aired out.
ARRESTS
Keenan Michael Abell, 30, Decatur; probation violation. No bond set.

Lindsey K. Wolfe, 39, Bluffton; distracted driving, 1300 block of North Main Street.
