Christmas in July Weekend. Ask the naturalist, Rebecca Wynn, what the events will include.
Saturday, July 23
9 a.m. to 3 p.m. — Friends of Ouabache State Park will be hosting Christmas in July, with all funds raised to go towards the Wonderland of Lights project. Games and items for sale will be showcased between campgrounds A and B. (Wooden Christmas ornaments featuring photos of the park will be offered for sale.)
All campers are encouraged to decorate their campsites with the theme being “Lights.” (Prizes will be awarded.)
10 a.m. to noon — Cold Station with ice cold pop or mini water bottles for sale at 50 cents each. Between campgrounds A and B.
3 p.m. — Bison Feeding at the Bison Pen.
5:30 p.m. — Kids Christmas Bingo at the campground shelter.
Sunday, July 24
10 a.m. — Fire Tower Climb, meet at the tower.
12 noon — Bison Hike, meet at the Bison Enclosure.
