Two free events have been announced for Fort Wayne’s Promenade Park, beginning in June.
On Saturday, June 4, from 8 to 11 a.m. a Free Fishing Day in Indiana will find the North Dock a site to visit. All fishing equipment will be provided on a first come, first served basis.
Another free event will be Chess on the Riverfront beginning on Sunday, June 26, from noon to 6 p.m. Instructions and boards will be provided if needed.
Future chess dates will be July 10, 31 and Aug. 28.
