The Norwell Knights defeated the Marion Giants 164-181 in Thursday’s home golf match on Timber Ridge Golf Course’s back nine.
The Knights were led by Augie Mann, who shot a 36 to help lead the team to its lowest score of the season.
Mann was followed on Norwell by Derek Smith at 41, Ethan Ottinger at 43, and Kaden Graft and Daniel Simerman each at 44.
Conner Pearcy shot a 53 for Marion’s best score.
In their two previous matches, the Knights picked up a win over New Haven and lost to DeKalb.
Against New Haven, Mann shot a 33 to finish one under par. Graft and Davis Miller each shot a 45, Simerman shot a 46, and Carson Hiester shot a 57.
Against DeKalb, Mann shot a 34 and was followed by Ottinger at 39, Graft at 44, and Smith and Miller at 48 each.
The Knights tee again on Friday at Columbia City.
