Beginning this weekend the Ouabache State Park will offer activities planned by the park’s new Interpretive Naturalist Rebecca Wynn.
Friday, May 6
During the evening Wynn will be roving the park explaining about coming events.
Saturday, May 7
10 a.m., Kids craft (mother’s day gift) at the Campground Shelter.
2 p.m., Meet at the Bison exhibit, there might be a surprise!
4:30 p.m., Nature Mother’s program, learn about some of the great mother’s and how they care for their young. Meet at the Campground Shelter.
Sunday, May 8
Happy Mother’s Day!
9:30 a.m., Tower climb and learn about the tower’s history, meet at the tower.
All programs are free with paid admission to the park. In case of inclement weather the programs are canceled. Parents and children are encouraged to attend these programs together.
