Thursday, 2:52 p.m., YMCA, 550 W. Dustman Road. Caller reported theft of wallet.

Thursday, 9:02 p.m., Pak-A-Sak convenience store, 904 S. Main St. Report of a fight between a man and a woman. Officers dispatched. The woman was located but the man had left. He was later located. Both combatants reportedly had marks on them. Information taken for a report.

Friday, 8:46 a.m., laundromat at 108 E. Walnut St. Ceiling tiles pulled down by someone.

Friday, 11:56 a.m., residence in the 500 block of East Townley Street. Report of a burglary at the residence.

Thursday, 12:32 p.m., residence on County Home Road south of 300S. Burglar alarm. Deputy responded. Alarm accidentally tripped.

Thursday, 7:53 p.m., residence in Keystone. Naked toddler found wandering in the street near the Norfolk Southern railroad tracks. Apparently the toddler had gotten out of the house while his mother was drawing a bath for the child. The child was returned to his parents. Both parents allegedly admitted to having used marijuana in the past 24 to 48 hours. Department of child services was contacted,  a safety plan was made, drug screens were taken, and someone was on the way to secure the door with better locks.

Thursday, 8:06 p.m., Helena Chemical plant south of Vera Cruz. Suspicious man in red shirt and blue jeans walking in the area of the Helena plant threw trash in the dumpster. Deputy responded. Located the man who turned out to be a delivery person waiting for the plant to open in the morning.

Friday, 12:45 a.m., mobile home at Silo Farms mobile home park. Deputies served a warrant for arrest on Chad Michael Strubing, 42, who lives in the mobile home, was arrested on charges of possession of a hypodermic syringe, a Level 6 felony; possession of a Schedule I, II, III, or IV controlled substance, a Class A misdemeanor; and possession of marijuana, a Class B misdemeanor. Bond set at $7,000.

Friday, 10:11 a.m., Bethlehem Lutheran School, 7545N-650E. Report of a 73-year-old male who had collapsed and was suffering from back pain. Sheriff’s deputies and Wells County EMS dispatched.

Friday, 10:18 a.m., 800N at 600E. Report of an older woman trying to walk to Decatur. Ossian police officer responded, located the woman, got her to step into his patrol car to stay warm, and contacted her grandson to come pick her up and take her to Decatur.

Friday, 10:18 a.m., residence on Main Street in Liberty Center. Caller reported items stolen from front yard of residence.

Thursday, 3:58 p.m., Greenfield Lane at Wheatfield Court. Marla J. Heavlin, 65, Bluffton, backed her 2000 Oldsmobile Bravada out of her driveway and struck a trailer being pulled by a 2004 Chevrolet Express van driven by Kevin L. Heron, 56, Bluffton. Damage exceeded $1,000.

Friday, 11:55 a.m., Main Street at Dustman Road. Reese V. Grube, 23, Bluffton, was southbound on Main Street in a 2016 Ford Escape when her foot slipped off the brake, the sport utility vehicle moved forward and hit the back of a 2015 Dodge Durango pickup truck driven by Meagan G. Vandelaar, 38, rural Bluffton. Damage estimated at less than $1,000

Thursday, 9:45 p.m., Ind. 3 near 1000S. Patrick A. Earhart, 33, rural Huntington, hit a deer with a 1998 Chevrolet pickup truck. Damage to the truck exceeded $1,000.

FIRE RUNS

Friday, 10:12 a.m., Lynn Elliott residence, 1437 Ridgewood Lane. Carbon monoxide detector sounding. Bluffton Fire Department dispatched. Faulty detector. Firefighters replaced it with a new one.

ARRESTS

Jared Joe West, 34, Ossian; failure to appear in court, a Level 6 felony. Bond set at $5,000.
